I have been tracking deer and bear in the Finger Lakes area for the past 8 years. I have had the opportunity to meet and successfully help find many beginner and experienced hunters lost game. My wife Megan our son Aidan and I have been tracking as a team for a few years. I also team track with Phil Huber and his hounds. I’m finding that when the game we are tracking is not dead, it is very helpful to have another licensed tracker to assist in the dispatching of the animal. It sometimes takes a while for me or any tracker to get back to you as we are in high demand this time of year. But as they always say a dead deer never goes anywhere.
